PLACE 19-67’s ORIGINS
Purchased in 2015, Place 19-67 is first and foremost a family business. That’s why, when it came time to find a meaningful name for the motel restaurant, a contest was held in the Plantagenet schools.
Thanks to École Élémentaire Catholique St-Paul’s 2015 5th grade class, an idea was hatched, and « Place 19-67 » came to be.
WHY PLACE 19-67 ?
1967 is the year the property was built.
WHY BUILD IN 1967 ?
With Expo 67 happening in Montreal, the founders, Mr Robert Séguin, Mrs Andréa Séguin and Mr Gérald Séguin had the idea to build a motel restaurant to accommodate travellers and locals alike. Interesting fact: it also took 67 masons to erect the property.
